Silas Beta Released!

I have released the beta today to everyone who pre-ordered!

We played some matches online and had a great time. There were many bugs that were reported, and I am fixing them all. I plan for 2-3 months of straight beta testing before releasing the final game.

So pre-order the game today to get instant access to the beta! It has 4 levels, with both single and online gameplay. And I'll see you online.

Pre-Order the game here:

BTW - Check out the Official Silas Forums here, where you can communicate with me at anytime.

Ahhhh how I love thee Elder Scrolls.

I've always been a huge fan of Bethesda and the work they do. I remember very foundly playing hundreds of hours in their Elder Scroll's rpg series. That is why the biggest game I am looking forward to this year(aside from Silas of courese) is Skyrim. They have done an absolutely brilliant job on the art judging from their new teaser released today. Thankfully Silas will be fully done before this beast is released. Ohhhh... I can't wait. ;)

In other news, Silas's beta demo should be releasing tomorrow if all goes right to those who pre-ordered. I will be sure to make a post when it drops.

Grassy Knoll

Grassy Knoll is a platform base CTF level. It is a smaller map, and is designed to keep all the action concentrated in a valley. In order to steal your opponents flag, you must first ramp onto their base. Matches move along very fast in this lush landscape.

The idea for the two platforms actually came from a friend of mine. As the earlier version of this level was two bases, but he felt that was done too many times. So I took the time to change it, and it worked out great. There is also some high ground areas that I put into it that can only be reached from the air.
